Can I Copy my USB0 (external HD) to another drive?

I just bought my second 360 and I don’t want to go through the hassle of copying all my game DVDs one at a time to another external drive. I’ve tried FTP but it is slow and keeps locking up (or something – not sure). There has to be a way to copy from one USB0 to another. I tried Xplorer360 and it would not recognize the drive.

Are you talking about a regular portable usb hard drive? That’s usually what usb0 is. If that’s the case then it’s fat32 and can be manipulated by a computer like any other hard drive.
If it’s a Xbox 360 HDD or some other form of internal HD you could try Party Buffalo Drive Explorer or something else similar to Xplorer360.
If you’re talking about a 360 storage partition created from the system menu(where it allows up to 16GB on an external device) then you need to use usbxtafgui to manipulate the files.
… the 360 storage partition shows up as a hidden folder in windows, I suppose you could just copy the whole thing, but I never tried it.
Any Xbox 360 controller w/o weird analog stick placement?

I have an Xbox and ps3 and the only reason i prefer the ps3 controller is that the analog sticks are in the same level (both hands are in the same position when using both analog sticks.)
The problem is, when I play on the xbox, my left hand fits naturally while my right hand is in a very uncomfortable position because of the right analog stick placement. Is there any Xbox 360 controller withthe right analog stick in the same level as the left one (like how the left one is top left so is there any controller with the analog stick located in the top right of the controller?

High Definition on Xbox + Cable Without Enough Component Sections?

I recently got my HD cable box hooked up, but it can only work if it’s in the component section of my TV, which is currently occupied by my xbox 360. I was wondering if I can use an Xbox 360 HDMI cord to plug into my TV and into my box, and then use the cords from my xbox to my component section in my TV since my xbox does not have a HDMI port.

You can then simply use the one port on your TV without messing around with Cables. You will have to make sure you turn off either device when the other is in use.
How to get a game out of xbox 360 with no power?

We had a power surge come thru house. Xbox will no longer turn on. Son has new game inside he just got for Christmas. How can we get it out???
Solution:
You can void your warranty (if you have one) and open it up and take it out. You can also try buying a new power supply for it and it might work.
First I’d get ahold of the warranty if any and see if you can get it replaced or repaired. If nothing else you could choose to void the warranty and dismantle the console to retrieve the game. Taking the console apart may null your chances of returning the system. Worked for my ps2 but end up breaking the cooling fan in the process. I suggest taking it in for repairs.
Computer can not recognize xbox dvd drive

I am trying to hook my xbox 360 slim dvd drive to my pcs sata cable to flash it. i removed the cable from my computers drive and hooked it into my xbox drive. when i open jungle flasher it wont recognize the drive. ive already installed the xbox 360 driver for windows 7, any other ideas?

When I connect my xbox 360 headset to my controller, should I get the audio or it just happens during online chat. So if i am palying a game offline, that headset wouldn’t provide audio?
Solution:
The headset is for communicating with other players online. You have to be in a xbox live chat party or in a private chat to here anyone. It is not for getting the game audio. (But if you are in a party and you can hear people but they can’t hear you make sure your headset mic isn’t muted by going to settings)

A friend gave me one of the new xbox slims. once it is booted the green light comes on for about 10 seconds and then turns to a solid red. The secodary code for it is 0022. i am aware what the secondary code is on the original xbox consoles but not the slims. if anyone has had experience in this area, i would like your advice.
xbox 360 caused my wireless internet to fail?

I have a Linksys wireless modem and i have three computers in my house plus an xbox 360. I’ve got the wireless adapter for 360 too. When i play for like an hour or so the connection starts to get bad and all of the computers lose connection entirely. Everytime this happens i have to unplug the router and then start it back up. What can i do besides buying a new router?

My Wireless Headset for Xbox 360

I recently picked up the Wireless Headset for Xbox 360 due to my two wired headsets being broken, at first I was a little cautious about getting it after reading a few review dotted around Amazon and places of such. However I decided just to go for it, the wireless headset obviously provides you with the ‘wireless’ feature, which I’m sure a lot of you love – so now feel I’ve used it enough to provide a respectable, honest review on it. The unit itself is rather compact, it has the ear piece and the microphone, which is just a few inches long – rather than the long flexible wired version, the ear piece has 3 buttons located on the side; The up and down volume keys and the on/off and mute button.
Upon first opening the Wireless Headset it’s going to need a good charge. It comes with a recharge cable, which connects, to the Xbox 360 via USB; the charging port is located at one end of the Headset. The headset comes with 2 earpiece fixtures a small and medium. I used the small as the medium is rather generous, when first adjusting the headset to your comfort zone it is a little awkward, in a sense that it feels like it will fall off, at first I felt I had put it on the wrong way, the headset it made to fit your right ear, it feels strange when on your left. The microphone comes a little down your face, well away from your mouth – you may think that this will make your audio very poor, but doesn’t. When fully charged the Headset will last a good couple of days. The audio that comes through the earpiece is very impressive, its clear and the volume controls make it more than easy to get the headset to a comfortable audio quality. One thing that I do find a little difficult and getting used to is the mute, on the wired headset it is very simple to mute and un-mute the headset by a flick of a switch located on the controller, however on the Wireless headset the mute button is on the center of the ear piece this is really annoying if your in a intense active game you will find muting the mic most annoying.
When using the headset for a long period of time – in which I mean ‘without’ a break, you feel weird feeling in your ear, kind of like mild ear ache, not sure what that is all about but it is not enough to make you stop using it – just a slight feeling. When syncing the headset to your controller you have to press the sync button on the headsetand the Xbox 360 – not the controller that was the mistake I made, when you do that it will sync to the first free controller.

I’ve been thinking of buying a wireless Xbox 360 controller to use on my PC with Windows 7.
Now doing some research, I’ve come across two types of controllers, one branded for PC and the other one without.
Are they both the same controller with a different name?
Would a 360 controller without the “FOR WINDOWS” branding still connect with the PC?
The 360 and Windows branded controllers are exactly the same. A “Windows” controller can be synced with a 360, and a “360″ controller can be synced with a Windows PC. If it’s a wireless controller, then you need the Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows to get it to link with a PC.

Don not update ONLINE, my friend.
It’s is dangerous. It will get you banned. Instead, update it offline. Here’s the download and instructions : XBOX UPDATE AND STEPS (Recommend USB Method)
If you have an iXtreme FW But I think you have that FW.
After the update, try using Black Ops, MW2, Halo: Reach, NFS: Hot Pursuit, or AC: Brotherhood. If it say “unreadable disk” Then you may have iXtreme LT or lower not LT+
EDIT: DO NOT UPDATE! Offline or Online. The update may cause your Xbox to brick or won’t play back up games.
Xbox 250GB HDD Problem?

I tried transferring all my data from my old Xbox 360 20gb hdd to this one using a cheapo generic transfer cable and I think I accidentally formatted my 250 hdd as a usb unit. It’s only detected as a usb unit, and it says it only has 16gb of storage. Is there anyway I can reformat my Xbox 360 250 HDD to actually work as a HDD and not a memory unit?

By “fancy Spartan moves”, I’m talking about the “This is Spartaaa!” pit-kick, a headbutt, shield strike, and a “look at your own guts” sword slash. That’s right, all the kick butt moves and tactics usually associated with hack-and-slash games are available and ripe for the using in this Kinect-powered action title.

Good News:Stereoscopic 3D Coming To Xbox 360

Xbox 360 is poised to receive full stereoscopic 3D support, with an official announcement likely at this year’s E3 according the rumours circulating yesterday. The 3D technology is said to be the same as that used by the PlayStation 3.
Back in January, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg said that while technically the Xbox 360 was fully capable of supporting 3D games, they were “unsure what level of interest there is from consumers to really want a 3D experience.” However, he added that it would be supported “Many, many years from now when it becomes a reality.”

A record number of Xbox 360 console sales — along with the rapid-selling Kinect — helped to fuel record revenue results for Microsoft, which saw a 13% increase year-on-year for the first three months of 2011.
Company-wide revenue was reported at $16.43 billion, with the Entertainment & Devices Division — which includes the Xbox family, the Microsoft Game Studios publishing subsidiary, and the Windows Phone line — contributing $1.94 billion of that figure, up 60 percent from the $1.21 billion it brought in during the same period one year prior.
In all, 2.7 million Xbox 360 units were sold, up from 1.5 million in the same period last year, representing a new quarterly record for the nearly five and a half-year-old console. The Kinect add-on — which debuted November 4 — sold 2.4 million during the quarter, putting it well over 10 million sold life-to-date. Revenue for the entire Xbox 360 platform was up $712 million (69 percent).
In all, the EDD division made a quarterly profit of $225 million, a leap of 50 percent from the previous year.
“We delivered strong financial results despite a mixed PC environment, which demonstrates the strength and breadth of our businesses,” said Microsoft CFO Peter Klein. “Consumers are purchasing Office 2010, Xbox and Kinect at tremendous rates, and businesses of all sizes are purchasing Microsoft platforms and applications.”
Overall profit for the quarter across the whole company for the tech giant was reported at $5.71 billion, up 10 percent on the same quarter in the previous year. According to Microsoft, its Windows 7 operating system has sold 350 million licenses to date, though revenue for its Windows division declined 4 percent, in line with PC sales trends.
Microsoft’s outlook for the next quarter says that the Entertainment & Devices division will see a revenue growth of “roughly 25 percent.”
Why do someone like the 360 but hate the PS3?

It has better graphics then the 360 (for those that don’t believe look up the ps3′s disc rate speed), blu-ray, free online gaming, siax controller(which means no battery), good games (yes they are coming, just give it some time), better technical support, and I could name off so much more. The only good thing about the 360 is XBOX Live.
All those who post please know what they are talking about. I mean if a ps3 broke on you within a month I guarantee you are either too stupid to use it properly or you messed it up. Also, sony does not copy..it was the first system to come out with the rumble feature (ps1) and the analog stick (not the joystick).
It’s just xbox fanboism. I have both systems, and I love my PS3 far better than my 360. I’ve had so many hardware issues with my 360 that I’m scared to even turn it on now. The PS3 is a far supperior machine, it’s really a media center with a Blu-ray Player. The best part is that if you run out of hard drive space, you can upgrade the hard drive yourself. mine is currently sporting a Xbox 360 250 GB hard drive….have TONS of music, pictures and videos on it. Not to mention all the demos and addons I get from the PSN store.360 has far more games, but most of them are crap anyway, only a handful of exclusives on 360 I have or would actually buy. Best part…I don’t have to worry about my PS3 Blowing up.

I took it to a friends house and returned (all while taking care of it) and now it won’t connect even after putting in the right password and doing everything the xbox help info says. I just really need help to fix this because I don’t want to resort to having to use an ethernet cable.
