Using xbox 360 controller on pc problem

I have just brought Fable3 from steam for $23, but I am having some issues using a xbox 360 wired controller. Once it is plugged in the screen hints are supposed to turn from keys to xbox buttons, but on mine it only periodically does this.
Its making the game really hard to play as every time I press the A button it doesnt do the default action and instead just zooms in. If I press the A button several times it eventually does the default action. I have also noticed when I am fighting the shortcut bar that appears in the bottom right hand side of the screen flickers between the keyboard version (F1..F4) and the xbox 360 version (dierectional pad).
This problem also makes running with the A button impossible. Its as if Fable 3 is switching from keyboard to joypad made constantly and is very frustrating as I want to play using a pad.
How to burning 360 iso

Could anyone please help me as I am pulling my hair out at the moment, I have downloaded a couple of iso to play instead of using the originals and i am burning using imgburn i have set layer break to 1913760 changed book type to dvd-rom, followed all the tutorials but i am still getting the xbox 360 logo when i insert the burnt disk into the console, any ideas please !
It’s getting expensive as I have 8 coasters out of ten at the moment 2 left to go.

The Orange Box
The Orange Box is available on PS3 and 360, but the 360 version is clearly superior and about half the price. Assassin’s Creed 2
You should definitely play Assassin’s Creed 2–ahem, Assassin’s Creed II–before embarking on last fall’s Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. If you’re new to the series, you’ll definitely enjoy the stealth knifing and wall-scaling adventures of Renaissance-era assassin Ezio and his bosom buddy Leonardo da Vinci. Amazon has it for just a hair under twenty bucks. Can’t be beat. Make sure to grab 72 slices of processed American-style cheesefood squares while you’re there.
Batman
The first really great Batman game in what seems like forever is getting a fall sequel, Batman: Arkham City. If you haven’t played Arkham Asylum, you really need to do so. Xbox console to console bought files?

I’m planning on buying grand theft auto while im at my cousins house but its going to be the version you download from the market place if i download it on his hard drive using my xbox live account when i go home will i be able to redownload it to my harddrive?
Solution:
1)You will probably have to do a license transfer.
2)yes if you use your gamer tag you can but if your buying it on your cousins account you cant.
3)Just recover your GT on his Xbox and download it on that. When you get home, I don’t remember if you’ll have to recover GT again or not, but the point is once your on your Xbox with your GT you should be able to go to something like download history or something and you should be able to get it from there.
